It is very rare to be in Love at 14 but yes, it is possible. Most people will probably tell you you´re stupid, you can´t be in Love you´re too young, you know nothing about Love. But don´t listen to them. Just listen to your heart, you can be in Love at any age. I´m 21, have had plenty of boyfriends and have been in Love with one guy. And i fell in Love with him when i was 13!

Sure, you can love at any age. The only thing you are completely unaware of is the fact that in about 3-5 years you will be a completely different person than you are today. So will the person you are in love with. These changes will happen multiple times throughout your life. Trust me. In a fantasy world, it would be ideal for you and your mate to continue to love the new people you are becoming. Chances are that will not be the case. Also, keep in mind there are a million life experiences you will have to have to be complete, a lot of these will not be possible with a full time lover from now until the end of time. Just enjoy your time together and hold onto each and every good memory, learn from the bad. That's what love is at 14.

The love feelings you are experiencing are actually a combination of infatuation, a very powerful passionate feeling. I had it. It's a great feeling! But it is probably not the same as love.
For example, I'm 42 and I've been married for 13 years. My love for my wife is mellow and comfortable, like a nice old pair of jean. It's not the same infatuation feeling that I felt when I was young.
I think there may be hormonal respose to your new secondary sexual characteristics that you are feeling as well. You're in that phase where you are no longer physically a child, but are on your way to being an adult.
Now... be very careful! Those feelings that you may be experience are like drugs and may compel you to make bad decisions. Although you may feel a certain way towards a person of the opposite sex, you must not act on any urges that you feel. That would be wrong and could prove disastrous.
Sex comes later, after marriage and more maturity.

No. Real love takes maturity, which 14 year olds, even those who are mature for their age, just don't have enough of. It also takes years for real love to develop between people. What happens to 14 year olds is infatuation. Enjoy it for what it is; the real thing will happen when you're older. Pretty much the only people who think 14 year olds can be in love are other 14 year olds.

Well, I know that you can sure think that you are, but at 14, most people do not have enough life experience to really know what love is all about. Call it a crush, call it puppy love, it's all part of life. This might be the first love, but I doubt that it will be your last. Enjoy being a kid first before wrapping yourself up in all this serious stuff.

Well, I did love someone when I was 14. The problem with loving someone at this age is you still have not become who you will be as an adult...meaning your going to change a lot. So though it's hard to imagine not loving the person forever your tastes will change. So I think it's fine to love someone but realize that this is your 1st love, everyone has one, but it won't be your last. Enjoy it for what it is.

Of course you can. Just don't promise your life away to someone you love now because things will change as you grow. And no sex yet. As much as you love someone, at 14 you can't make good decisions around getting physical. That's not an insult -- it's a matter of experience, not intelligence.

Absolutely not. Way to young to have emotional maturity or handle responsibility of weightier emotions like love. Can a 14 year old have deep seated hatred that lasts for decades? I think not.

i believed i was in love at 14.
not that i was, necessarily, but i sure thought i was.
really.
if i was, it was nothing like the love i know now.
i am a thirty-one year old woman, now, with love after love behind me.
i could not imagine anything greater than the love i have now.
maybe love is like that.
