NO, its okay. you never know, someone else may be without a date and you may end up hooking up. Besides, a lot of the time people dance in groups or with friends anyway

It is not uncool to not have an escort to prom because most people would rather drive with their friends or solo. And when you do have an escort sometimes that's the person you have to be stuck with while dancing and how boring is that. If you go to the prom without an escort you will have fun. Have you thought about asking someone instead of waiting for someone to ask you (that person might be afraid to ask just like you).

It is very common now a days for teens to go to prom stag. Just get a group of people or just one other person girl or guy to go along with you. Just look at it this way, you will be able to enjoy prom to the fullest. You wont have to worry about if your date is having a good time or not and you can dance with whoever you want. Go I am sure you will have a blast.
