The show has all sorts of production techniques to select the most marketable winner. If that sentence made any sense. They have added awesome backgrounds and camera angles to the folks that they want to win. If they want someone to be off the show, they take that boost away and make them look dull. This was printed in a major Florida newspaper. Please realize that what you are watching is not real and is controlled by certain business interests. If the best person does not win, it is because they are simply not marketable in the future. These techniques can greatly affect the folks at home that are voting.

I have to say that you are right!! I think that Taylor is a great singer/performer, but Chris should have won in my book and Clay Aiken should have won instead if Ruben. I am not a fan on Fantasia either. But we all have different taste so I am sure that some people think that the winners are as they should be.

i think you're wrong - they got it right this year - taylor plays two instruments, writes his own music, has opened for tom petty, and has a voice like some of the greats - ray charles, joe cocker, etc. finally someone who isn't a pop cookie cutter.
