Why is it that Massachusetts's elected officials can get off for driving drunk and murdering people?

Who murdered who? It would be nice if your accusations had any specifics to them.

Because we are a democracy last time I checked, not a Nazi regime that goes around killing the masses of women, children and elderly. That is the part of the power we posses that scares me to think that without proper checks and balances, our country would come to.

Germany was a democracy too, then the power they attained became a facist war mongering country...kinda like Rome. It's been done before, and we are in the toddler stages of this type of growth.

Easy man! they have immunity in the government. I hate it, our system is not just. its injustice, they are just like us but without ranks and titles...i hate the cops i hate how they let people go because they are higher. its too sad but too true.

Maybe it's because they know some of the best judges money can buy?
