Wisodom teeth are also referred to as third molars, they do not serve a purpose.
Yes it is possible, you may have periodontal or what is also called gum disease, or a severe infection in the tooth that has lead to bone loss in the surrounding areas of the tooth causing it to be loose. You need to see a denist, if this tooth is not already hurting you there is a large possiblilty that is could start hurting at any time.

Of course. It would be strange if it was a "baby" tooth, but it's probably an adult molar if it's in the back. If you do have a loose tooth, I would see a dentist, because it's probably from some kind of accident (eg: getting punched, falling, etc...)

I got my wisdom teeth at 30. Getting your wisdom teeth could push out your others.
You should go see a dentist though, soon.

could you be getting in a wisdom tooth, that is pushing on one of your existing molars? They come in later in life.
