How do I alter the list of processes that run on start-up?
I run Windows XP... I looked all through the Microsoft Help Registry, and couldn't find anything that would help me. Thanks!

Go to Start/Run
Type in msconfig
There's a startup tab, click that and uncheck whatever you want in that list.

run a search for a program called WinPatrol. i loaded it on XP and it cut my boot time by about 5 minutes
