Sure. Mixing business and friendship is a good way to test a friendship. I took 6 years off from a friendship and still have not fully reconciled.

In another case I let the issue (monetary) go because I saw that the cost was much greater than any amount of greenbacks.

Most of the time you have to decide to be the bigger person in order for your friend to come around and they typically will.

Yes. Me and my best friend were seeing these 2 girls. Him one and me the other. Well the girls thought it would be a good idea to switch boyfriends for a night. Well afterwards my girl wanted me back and his girl wanted me also. So they both told him that they wanted me and almost got us in a fist fight,so to make along story short me and him got in the car about an hour after this happened and left them at the movies. They had to call someone to take them home but me and my friend are still friends to this day. We are more like borthers. We`ve been friends since we were 12 years old. We are both in our 40`s now!!

I have not been able to fix that friend ship yet. But any other ideas you get hey can you send them my way.
