How do you feel about....?

Hybrid Vehicles are great cars. If you are considering a hybrid, you should look at Toyota models, which also includes Lexus. Toyota has been working with hybrid technology for well over 15 years and have perfected it many times over. Plus, a lot of manufactures out there are using Toyota's old hybrid technology.

Further, there are two types of hybrid vehicles: Full and Mild.

A full hybrid will run on electric motors alone and will run on a combination of electric and gas when more power or speed are needed.

A mild hybrid always runs in the combined mode.

kind of pathetic actually. if you look at the price increase for a hybrid, and take in account that you have to replace the batterys (which are insanely expensive) there really isn't much of a price advantage over a decent conventional car. you would think that since we have the technology to blow ourselves up 10 times over, we should be able to figure out a better solution to using fossilo fuels than a hybrid, which still relies on fuel....

Hybrid vehicles are really good for the envoirnment...However, they are not for anyone that has any sort of passion for cars because their performance is not very good. Ask again when they get a Hybrid Bugatti Veyron

I think they're way cool now that they've invented a hybrid truck...go chevy! But I'm waiting on dodge to come out with a hybrid full-sized truck, cuz I'm a rammer!

In a few years it'll be the next best thing. Right now, they are too much compared to their gas siblings and do not provide enough difference is economy. Not to mention the batteries, they will need replacement, and i'm still concerned about what happens in a major wreck, if emergency people are cutting you out, what about all of that electricity. NOT YET

I think they are awesome. I mean we cant live off of oil forever and it is damaging to the atmosphere. Why not bring in alternate sources of fuel. I think it is great.
