USB card reader program?

I had to reload XP on a 3 year old computer with an internal USB Card Reader. I don't see a brand name. The system shows the drives and everything but there was another program that I had to run to enable the drive to read cards. I can't find what the program was and never received a copy from the vendor who put this together. The program would show up in the system tray and could be configured to load when the computer started. Does anyone know where to find a program like this?

When I had a similar problem I used

    Unknown Devices

    http://www.halfdone.com/Development/UnknownDevices...

I'm not sure if that will handle USB.

    This one claims to:

    Unknown Device Identifier 5.02

    http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Un...

These enable identification of the device manufacturer and model number - then you're halfway there...

it particularly is frequently less complicated and swifter to apply the cardboard reader, incredibly if the cardboard reader is geared up-in on your workstation (that's greater often than not swifter than a USB linked card reader and/or digicam). Plus once you utilize the USB cable to digicam, you're including greater junk utility on your workstation - motive force, unneeded utility, and so on.

You should most probably be able to find it on your manufacturer's website.
