Have a desktop with no OS. How do I install an OS?

    Get the OS U like to install. Windows 2K is recommended. Its easy to install as u don't need to load any bootable files. Juat insert the CD. Follow the Instructions & u r done in 12 minutes.

    Note:- Need to install Graphics & Sound from ur MOTHER BOARD CD.

    Get the boot CD (Windows XP is recommended) and put the CD in. Start your computer and boot from the CD. Select New Install and it will tell you to format your hard drive. Select NTFS here. Now let the computer take over from here. It will complete the installation by itself from here.

    put the cd in and follow the instructions, it really depends on which OS you are going to install

    Bootable CD or floppy, my friend. Try linux for free (www.opensuse.org)
