    Its actually "Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh' :)

    and is the most preferred greeting used by Muslims to greet one another.

    Translated as,

    "Peace be Upon You and May Allah's Mercy and Blessings be With You".

    or

    "May Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Allah be Upon You."

    To make it simple:

    Salam - Peace

    Ala - Upon

    Kum - All of you

    Wa - And

    Rahmat - Mercy

    Barakat - Blessings

    It's a Muslim greeting. Something about 'may the blessings of Allah be upon you' but I can't find a good traslation on line
