why would there be a reflection of something that is not there on my tv screen when it is turned off?

If you own a plasma, the image might be burned into the screen.

Assuming you have a C.R.T. tv (Cathode Rate Tube). You know if you have one if its really bulky, it has a lot of depth to it and its pretty heavy. Its because how it works is that electrons are fired to the back of youre tv (hence the name C.R.T.). The electrons hit some powder behind the glass, I think its like a phsphorus coating. That poweder sends the visible light frequency that we can see. So anyways it could be because the last image on youre tv, the image that the electron gun shot at the powder the negative charge is still there. So it is still sending a very small but distinctive pattern that is stuck on the phosphorus linning.

I do know that on older TVs, when you turn them off, the picture is still there. That could be it. Like the last thing that was on your TV before you turned it off. I hope that's what it is. It could be a spirit. If you believe in that.

I would be concerned about ghosts and such..................
