The *only* way to get pregnant is to have sex with a fertile man at a time in your menstrual cycle when you are fertile. The *fastest* way to get pregnant is to know when you are fertile.

A woman ovulates about 2 weeks (usually 12-16 days) before her *next* period. Sperm can live for up to 3-5 days in the female body if conditions are right (only a few hours otherwise). The egg lives for 6-12 hours (occasionally up to 24). So generally speaking, you need to have sex before ovulation in order to get pregnant.

Do *not* bother with ovulation Web site; they only tell you when a mythical average woman will ovulate. They are, therefore, by definition, *wrong* for most women. (It's like assuming that *every* woman you meet will be 5'4" tall; even though that may be average, it's usually not true!) And ovulation predictor kits can be wrong for all kinds of reasons. Checking your fertility signs is the most accurate way to know when you are fertile.

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Your changes of conceiving are much greater if you orgasm either during or right after intercourse. When a woman has an orgasm her cervix, the mouth of the uterus, contracts as the uterus moves. This causes the uterus to dip or bob into the vagina. If the male has already had an orgasm, then this area is rich in semen (sperm). This motion of the cervix will actually draw the semen into the cervix and uterus to aid in it's passage towards the ripe egg.

Consult a fetility specialist. Eat healthy, nutritious foods. Exercise. Don't forget to relax, because stress can make it more difficult for you body to allow it to become pregnant.
