You will have to earn either a 5-yr Bachelor of Architecture or 6-yr Master of Architecture Program degree from an NAAB accreditted institution. The degrees are regarded basically as equals. Following your degree you will need to completed 3 years of internship in the office of a licensed architect. After that, you will have NCARB ARE testing, 8 separate tests each with a pass rate of 66-75%. Then comes the process of licensure by a state board.

DO NOT choose a four-year program for your undergraduate as you will have to do remedial work before your internship for licensure.

Included in the links is a list of 5-yr and a list of 6-yr programs in the US. I personally attend the Univeristy of Arizona (5-yr) and love it. Peace out and good luck.

P.S. The MArch can also be earned at an institution after a 4 year BS or BA in Architecture, or a 5 year BArch but is not necessary for licensure if you have done a 5-yr program, and, by definition, takes longer.

You need to go to college and get a bachelors degree. Then take the GRE and get into a masters degree program, then get your masters.
