Of course salsa is nutritious. It has tons of tomatoes, and many other vegetables included in it. ONe time, I bought this salsa that has like, 8 variations of veggies in it. and that meets the expectations of the amount of vegetables you need to consume in a day. try putting salsa in your salad. Therefore trying something new, and giving you a sh!tload of veggies in one sitting. try it!

Yes! Tomatoes and onions and jalapenos are veggies that contain antioxidants and are virtually fat-free. I usually eat too many corn tortilla chips with salsa so that is not so good. But salsa added to many foods can give you a good serving of veggies!

Not sure on the nutritious part - but Weight Watchers always recommended it on a baked potato instead of sour cream and butter. Pretty good!

Yes, especially when you make it yourself. The vegetables alone should let you know that there is a great deal of nutrition packed into every bite- if you must buy your salsa-try one with a low fat content.

If it's made without additives, it's extremely nutritious.

it depends if its homemade you can make it nutritious but not the kind you buy in a jar

i dont' think it is high in vitamin content, but it has little to no fat, or cholesterol.

if it is really really hot, then it is supposed to speed up your metabolism. but watch out for that! i can do stomach and esaphogus damage! it is full of sodium too which cal lead to bloating in some people-like me.

all in all, it is a good diet food-just watch what you are dipping in it!
