How do you get rid of your ask yahoo account?

    All you have to do is stop using it. You may still get an occasional best answer notification if one of the questions you previously answered, but once they all get resolved you'll no longer receive any notifications. If you'd like to change your profile name to something more anonymous, click on "My Q&A" in the upper right of this page and then on "Edit My Info."
