I have avast! antivirus...screensaver?

Yeah, one of my antivirus programs is avast! antivirus, and it's also a screen saver. The screen saver makes it look like avast! is running a virus scan. Is that what it's doing?

    If It really is a screensaver ie: move mouse, it goes away, Then NO it is not scanning. If you can work on your computer as I runs ie: minimize it, then it is scanning. Hope this helps.

    you should only use 1 antivirus program.
