what is the smell you miss the most?

When I was like 4 I used to wake up at 4am when my dad would wake up to go to work and I used to go into the bathroom to watch him shave and then he would put on his aftershave lotion on and kiss me goodbye and it smelled really good. He still uses the same one but I'm not 4 anymore and I'm not super close to him like I used to be. I also miss the smell of homemade tamales this lady used to make me. They were the best tamales I've ever had.

For some reason, the smell of airports/airplanes always get me. I just love the smell of airports and airplanes. Always reminds me of all my travels i've done and gets me excited about my new adventure this year.

I also miss the smell of Canada. Whenever im in Montreal visiting family, there is a certain smell I smell, and sometimes something will remind me of that smell and brings me back to all the good times I had visiting Montreal. What a great city!

This is a great question. I miss smelling my grandfather smoking a cigar. My dad, too. I miss smelling my father's armpits from when I was a little girl and nestled in next to him before he got out of bed. I miss the Noxema he put on his fact. I miss the smell of my grandmother's soap in her bathroom. I miss smelling puppy breath. I miss smelling the way I smelled before my hormones changed during menopause. I miss smelling my babies after a bath. I miss smelling our dog Max's paws. They had a good earthy smell. I would burrow my nose into them and just inhale. He's in the places dogs go when they die. No other dogs' feet ever smelled as good as his.

I'll tell you some smells I wish I NEVER had to smell again: dirty kitty litter, the smell inside my belly button, ear wax, dog poop on my shoe, brakes burning up, the inside of my mini van now that Luigi the cat peed in it and the rabbit compost leaked out of the bag, it's horrible when it rains, burned food, and last but not least, food, especially raw meat, that has gone bad in the refrigerator.

I really really miss the sale barn where I used to live. It reminds me that I have moved across the country and miss the wide open spaces, the beautiful sunsets, the corn waving in the breeze, etc. Perhaps not very conventional, but you asked.

When ever I entered a subway (restaurant) it smelled so good! I'm not kidding. Once I went into a subway and I had a cold. I couldn't smell anything! All the fun went out of that trip because I couldn't smell anything!

My Mom's perfume which made her smell like my mom (she's been dead 23 years). The smell of the ocean mist....reminds me of great summers when I was a teen at the beach.

kids.I especially liked the smell right after their baths & I powdered them.The Baby Room smelled nice also.
