Is the SeaDoo Speedster a good 'starter' boat?
I am looking to buy a used boat for around $8000 . . I have never owned one but I live next to a couple of lakes & want to start enjoying them. Any other models I should be looking at?

hi. if you are looking for a starter boat do not by nothing that's a lot of money.ask your self what it is that you want to do with it? fish or ski.or buzz around the lake.theirs a lot of things you can do with a boat.you want to fish lakes? get a 16foot to 19 foot bass boat.want to water ski they do make boats called fish and ski.an out board motor is the way to go.save money start small then work your way to the big toys.
