has anybody ever met anyone famous. (besides me?)?

when I mean met, I mean did you talk to them or hung out with them? I'm curious because I met Demi Moore in a Anaheim bar, she was just like talking to a friend, she liked me because thats the way I talk to anyone, it was 4 years ago about the time she was going out with that kid Ashker, it just shows that no one is better than the rest, we are all created equal...so if you meet and converse the way I did, you may get a phone # and an e-mail addy.

Good luck

A few years back My wife and I met Clint Eastwood in a diner at Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Others I've met were... Frankie Vaughan, (conversed and shook hands with. Ricky Valance, (Photo taken with him). Bernie Winters, Des O'Conner, Kathy Kirby, Aker Bilk, The Crazy Gang, Ken Mackintosh, Edmond Hockridge, Joy Nichols, Danny LaRue, Roy Hudd, Showaddywaddy and Lonnie Donegan, plus many more. I must be honest and say that every celebrity that I have met were genuine and took the time to talk to you, to sign autographs or to thank you for your support.

Met ZZ-Tops Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard Twice. Once In Houston, Tx. In their home recording studio in 1983, where I was so waisted that I barfed all over thier sound mixer. And then again in 1995 at the HP Pavilion back stage for an after show get together. My brother used to rescore their music notes so he got me four back stage passes.

I also worked with Jeff Garcia at Nike Prior to him going to San Jose State University. Man could he work the beer bong.

Yeah, lots of them. Just two weekends ago, I rapped with Brian Setzer for about half an hour at the liquor store, really nice guy. Some others were Casey Kasem, Shirley Jones (Mrs. Partridge), Rob Zombie, Cindy Crawford, and Johnny & June Carter Cash; to name a few.

Treat them like just people, and they're usually very nice.

When I was twelve years old, my mom and sister took me to a concert at the Front Row Theatre in Cleveland (1978). A comedian named Tom Dreesen opened for the performer and I thought he was just hysterical! When he was done, he said he'd be signing autographs in the rear of the auditorium. I was nervous but by time I got the nerve up, I went back and everyone was gone. A guy came up and asked if he could help me. I was extremely shy but said I'd like Mr. Dreesen's autograph. He went thru a doorway and about sixty seconds later, Tom came out, patted me on the shoulder and asked "What's your name, son?" I told him and he said he'd be back in a few minutes. He came out about three or four minutes later with a program from the evening and he wrote on it "John, You're a great guy! -Tom Dreesen". He handed it to me and I felt like I caught the ball that broke Babe Ruths' record. That was probably just an ordinary night for him on the road, but for me it showed me that there are truly great and caring people out there.

I've seen him numerous times on Carson, Letterman, and Leno, just to name a few, and I always tell whoever's watching with me that I met him and how happy I was to shake his hand and how he is truly a genuine and great guy.

    Thanks, again Tom.

Yeah I ran into Ray Durham when he played with the White Sox and talked to him for a while even though I should have been working instead. I used to work a Dave and Busters in Addison IL when I met him. Also Mike Singletary frequents that place too and I saw him.

  • My aunt and uncle are the ones who got Blake Shelton started. They saw him singing at the Ada Oklahoma Opry and took him to Nashville and found him an agent. My uncle used to be a drummer in a band and knew this agent. They were up there with Blake Shelton for about 7 years and finally have decided that they would like to come home to be around their family in Oklahoma and gave him to another agent. My aunt still does his fan mail and runs his web site. That is the only famous person I personally know. I have even gotten to eat out with him and his family because of my aunt and uncle getting him started. :)

I met the wrestler (Bill) Goldberg while he was in town doing autographs in 97 or 98.. there was a line all the way around the building when they said it was time for him to leave, but thankfully I knew most of the town's DJ's and since I talked to one of them eariler he grabbed me & asked him if he'd do one more signing; then Goldberg said "sure! saving the prettiest for last huh" *siiiiiigh* He also gave me a hug & wow he's built! Much cuter in person too... Ahhh memories

I haven't, but my friend met all the Top 12 American Idols last year before the summer concert began in *** Jose. She got backstage passes and took pictures with all the Idols!! OK, so they weren't REALLY too famous, but it still counts. Because of Carrie Underwood, the winner!
