    Wow~ Your making me think..

Best memory..I think it has to be after my youngest son has major surgery and I was about out of everything, faith, hope or courage. Being "me" I was acting as if everything was under control and my mother came to me, sat me down and told me it was okay to be weak right in that moment, that she would be the strong one for her child right then. And I cried like a baby on her shoulder. That was the best cry I've ever had.

My mom wasnt always there for me or my sisters so this was a hard one....

I remember going on her "adventures" You see on the weekends when she was off work and before we went to live with our dad she would wake us up really early and tell us to get dressed and then we would pick a road that led out of town and just drive. I remember we fould a zoo one time and a water park that now looking back really wasnt all that safe. I think that my absolute Favorite memory though has to be when she woke us up and said we were going to see the sun rise over the beach. Now you have to understand that we lived in the middle of Florida so driving to the beach took atleast 2 and a half hours. All 4 of us girls were so young and so excited. We drove all the way to the beach and ran to find a good spot to watch well time goes by and before we knew it it was already daylight with no colorful sunrise that you see on TV. Come to find out we had driven to the west coast because my mom forgot the sun rises in the East. So what did we do? Spent the day there and watched the sunset then drove across the state got a motel room and watched the sunrise the next morning at the right beach.

Thank you for this question It really helps to remember good memories.

My Mom left me with a million god memories. You see she saw no wrong in me. Whatever I did was wonderful. Do you know what kind of self esteem that gives a child. I was spoiled but not to a fault, we were poor, but she gave whatever she could. She baked and cooked so we were feed like kings and queens. She sewed so we had nice clothing. She was artistic so our home was very comfortable. She always put her kids first so we always felt special. She went to work outside the home when more money was needed, but managed to keep the household going. Our Dad was nice, but drank too much so wasn't such a big help, but she didn't dwell on that, just put out extra effort so we were still always taken care of. My Mom was the absolute best example of a selfless woman who took her job title of Mom very seriously and because of that her six children grew to be independent, wonderful parents themselves.

My best memory of my mom is when we argue, because right after we hug and go out to eat or something. Its something that i love about my mom that no matter what i do she is always there. Even when I'm wrong.
