The chemical imbalance could certainly have something to do with it, but I'm sure there's more to it.

Without knowing you, I'm just going to throw a few possibilities out there for you to consider. One or more may fit, once you give it a little thought.

It's possible that, subconsciously, you return from your date unfulfilled, and that causes some unhappiness that you can't put your finger on. You may have higher expectations that he is providing right now.

It's also possible that you are disappointed somehow in yourself. Maybe you failed to say the "perfect" thing in response to something he said. Maybe you didn't enjoy the activities you shared as much as you thought you should.

It could also be that you and he are not really a good match, but you like him anyway. Down deep, you know you're not well matched, but you don't want to admit it because ... you really like him and *want* to enjoy the date.

Many of us visualize dates, job interviews and a variety of other events yet to take place. Sometimes, those events take shape just as we imagined ... sometimes they're not even close. It could be you are subconsciously envisioning that upcoming date, and when it doesn't happen that way ... you feel somehow that you (or he) failed.

Let these possibilities kind of roll around in your mind for a day or two, then take another look at them. I'll bet the answer is there somewhere.

Don't worry too much, though, or read too much into it. Either things will work out with this fella or not. If so, good. If not ... there's another chance right around the corner that you're not even aware of yet. Relax ... and let things come to you.
