ITunes Help!!!!?

I want to add folders to myipod, but can't figure out how to do this with Itunes. I want to separate playlists, but Itunes won't let me add any more music to my Ipod, not to say anything about putting them into folders. Can it bet this complicated?

you have to put your music into folders. then to file then go to the directory where the folder is in and open it onto itues.. then make playlists from your ipod. turn on your ipod and go to the song you like and hold the middle circle button till it flashes just add all the songs you like by doing whati told you.. then plug in your ipod and the playlists should appear. oh and before you plug in your ipod make sure you save them.. hope that helped

Is your ipod full? Or are you trying to put music on it from a different computer other than the one you sync'd to? If so, you need to switch the preferences in itunes for your ipod from Auto Synch - to Manual. Then you will be able to make folder by

    1. connect your ipod to the computer

    2. launch itunes

    3. click and drag the folder that you created in itunes- onto your ipod ICON. This will add it.

However, it will not look like a folder in your ipod. it combines all the playlists from one folder into one large playlist.

IF you mean that you are trying to use your ipod as a hard drive and want to put folders on it that way...then you will need to make a folder on your desktop, put the files that you want in it, and copy it over to the icon of your ipod on the desktop.

There should be an "add folder" option in Itunes v 5. So you can just make new folders with that and drag them into your ipod.

clear some space on your iPod if you must.
