Yes you can get a working tourist visa, this is valid for 12 months. You can only apply for this whilst you are outside of the country.

You can work full time for 6 months for one employer, then you have to change employers.

You will require a medical and chest X ray and whatever the visa costs. You also have to be under a certain age, I cant recall what that is but if you go to www.immi.gov.au all the information you want is there. I live in Adelaide and that is really nice and about the cheapest place to live, Sydney is about the most expensive.

Try the big cities. They have the best job opprotunities. Or maybe a beach resourt.

My husband and I will also be moving to Australia on a Regional Skilled Migration Visa. I agree that Adelaide is beautiful, but it really depends on what you want to see when you are there. If you love surfing, move to Margaret River in WA. If you love the scuba, move to Cairns and work out at Green Island. If you are into natural wonders, move to Tasmania. you take a freaking plane there and apply for citizenship or least some kind of green card go to the beach communities i was born there so its really nice ull love it there
