I would find it hard to believe that all fireworks vendors would have to leave Denver. First of all, you are acting on hearsay--what somebody else had said. Even if it is your mom. Plus she claims she got it off the news. Perhaps she did not get all the facts. Perhaps the police asked a few vendors to leave or a certain chain of vendors because they were selling illegal stuff, I imagine. Denver is a big city. There have to be a lot of vendors out there. Why don't you just go out and look for vendors? If you have a car just go out and drive around and look. If you don't have a car, go and walk or take the bus or get a ride from a friend. Also, check the newspaper to see ads of where vendors are located. Surely they are set up on various street corners throughout Denver.
