Anyone here ever read any books by Clarence E. Mulford?

If so, how would you rate him as a western writer? Personally I think he is without equal. I am wondering what other readers think of his works? Thanks!

    The creator of "Hopalong Cassidy" ,not bad, though Louis Lamour wrote about half of 'em. You might want to check out Max Brand and Owen Wister,too.
