I had same problem, it is from the song file itself. I re-made a new mp3 file for the song and problem resolved.

    Check the setting in iTunes.

Right click the song and choose Get Info. Choose the Options tab and make sure both Start and Stop Time: are unchecked. Then click OK.

Does it do this problem when you play the song with iTunes? If not, try reformatting your iPod using iPod Updater (http://www.apple.com/ipod/download ). Don't Update it, Restore it... Then upload all your music back onto your iPod.

The song is probably with the song and not the player. It could be that the file is corrupt or that the disk you imported it from was damaged. You could always try reloading the file.
