did you notice how many ppl hate the new yahoo page?

Did you notice the number of questions asking how to get the new Yahoo! homepage? Lol. There are a lot of people who love it also and need to find out how to get it when they're using a different browser. Unfortunately, they'll have to wait for now.

I doubt the staff working on the homepage reads these questions, but there is a link at the bottom of that page that says "Send Feedback on Yahoo!'s New Home Page." If you see any questions from people who hate the new homepage, you can have them send in their comments via that link and then click on the "Switch to Old Page" link right next to it.

Just because there's a plethora of questions about people not liking the new page doesn't mean there's an absence of people that do like it. People who have strong feelings for the site like the direction Yahoo is going and so they dont' have to comment on it. On the other hand people who prefer the old version are trying to create controversy in hopes that they can keep the old version.

Remember that Yahoo! is a huge company with huge amounts of traffic and a change like this is very risky for them and cannot be taken lightly. You can bet they've done lots of work studying human-computer interaction, thought about the direction they want to take Yahoo! (as the home page should reflect that - which it does - see how integrated Y! Answers is???) and also of course getting feedback from users throughout the process.

If the feedback they got was as negative as one might think from just looking at Yahoo! Answers then they would certaintly change the page... but it hasn't been.

yep i believe they do. that's why they have the Preview The All New Homepage button on the top right side of yahoo

I don't really like it either but it doesn't bother me that much. I doubt Yahoo cares enough what we think to read this.

It's OK. I think right now I'm using the new one, but at my computer at work I still use the old one.

That's why I kept the old one
