What about friends?

I think that everyone has less friends because there barely enough time in the day to spend time with your loved ones let alone your friends. Sometimes I can go 2 or 3 days with out talking to my friends because I am just too busy or tired from work. And when you finally do have the time and energy for them true friends will understand and it wont effect your friendship.

Haven't read the article, but I'm thinking it's probably 'cause so many Americans are going kind of crazy nowadays- not to generalize or anything- just saying my honest opinion! Sorry if hurts anyone... also, so many Americans are the same; maybe people get a little tired of them!

Someone told me last week that they read a study that said you only actually have 3 true friends in your lifetime. Wonder if thats true? I think these days people are looking out for themselves more than they care whether or not they find friendship. The Almighty Dollar plays a big role in it I think.

well i didnt read that article, but i think that people these days are just loosing all their morals and respect for other people. i can't say that i have any real friends, because i cannot trust anyone around here. people will turn on you in a heartbeat!

I didn't read the article but i think it is true cos if you really think about it, how many true friends do you actually have? it's really difficult to find friends you can talk to,are trustworthy, and have alot in common with.

we have enough time,but for ourselves.We have shifted our energies inwards,be it individualism or independence.
