The first WNBA Draft was held in 1997. Dena head of the University of Tenenesse was drafted by the Utah Starzz.

there is not any NBA rule that announces women actual everyone seems to be excluded from enjoying, by way of fact there hasn't been a want for one. that's theoretically a threat that an exceedingly gifted woman athlete might desire to win a niche on an NBA roster. even with the incontrovertible fact that, adult adult males are a lot bigger, extra advantageous, and extra valuable then women human beings that even the appropriate woman basketball participant could no longer make an honest mens branch one college team.

1977 Lucy Harris from Delta State University. Selected by the New Orleans Jazz in the 7th round. Although she never played in an NBA game.

i forgot her name but there's this woman, not sure if she was drafted. she suited up for the indiana pacers back in the late 80's or early 90's. im not sure if she played a regular game but she was in the roster for a very short period of time.
