What do you think Yahoo should do to promote Answers besides the points system?

Yahoo should start rewarding something for these points, so far no one has gotten anything. I think Yahoo, should make good on their offer, and give us stuff.

I have to agree with the answer above this one. A lot of people come to the site, run into something offensive and leave. Yahoo! needs to work on more effective moderation, and we all should help out by using the report abuse feature as well as contributing good content.

I think they've done a lot to pull new users in with the Ask the Planet promotion and all the celebrity guests. I'm against real prizes on this site because it could contribute to rampant points gaming, but more contests would be interesting. I'd especially love a way to get more people to vote. There are tiebreakers from four months ago still waiting to be resolved.

In addition to the featured questions, featured answers would be nice also.

I think that the points should be for rewards, even if it is like a yahoo hat or something. But I think first they should make the point system better. We should be able rate the questions as well as the answers. Too many people put inappropriate questions on here.

Make it more acceptable to everyone. Many of the questions that are on here are disgusting and obscene. I know several people that would enjou this site but would find these questions extremely offensive. For this reason, I would not recommend it.

Plus the made up situations and the stupid questions....something needs to be done

Promote it in a social center kinda way, not like myspace though.

Also, it's a great place to suprise yourself with wisdom you never knew you had. You can meet lifelong friends!

they should give reward to encourage people to ask or answers, something like credit card or airline to reward their customers.
