Windows 98 SE Update Product Key??? Help!!!!?

This happened to me recently I had to reinstall Windows 98SE and I didn't have the product key so I called Gateway and they gave me a new one so try calling whoever made your computer it worked for me

If you wiped out the hard drive, then install a new operating system. Windows 98 isn't even supported by Microsoft anymore.

Since you obviously have web access you can do a search for Win98Se. there are many keys and you may have to try a few to get one that works. You can always see if one of your friends still has it.

If your computer came with this preinstalled, contact the manufacturer. They should help you with this!
