Yahoo Changed My Mail Password Without Permission?
Has anyone else experienced this? I received email notification via my alternate account that Yahoo had changed my email password for security reasons. When I regained access to my Yahoo mail account, I discovered that all of my email had been deleted.
I keep trying to contact customer service to get an answer from them - but apparenty they have trouble comprehending the fact that I want them to put back the email they deleted from my account.
Does anyone have a way to contact customer service? I want to reach people who will actually read my letter of concern without sending me some stupid form letter while they ignore my request.
One customer service agent sent me a form letter asking to verify my personal information including my secret question & answer. Funny, I figure they didn't need that information when they changed my password without my permission, and deleted all of the contents of my email.
I need realy c/s help, not some form letter reply bs. Any takers?

Odds are that Yahoo was not involoved in this you were scamed by a hacker and they now have all your emails, contacts etc. You will have to spend hours trying to contact yahoo, they will probably never help you, Here is what you need to know, there is a hacker site that targets yahoo, it is as follows.http://www.yahoo-owned.net/ these guys create booters, and also have a script that anyone who sends and email or has a website can get you to log in, which it really goes to them not yahoo. you were 100% without a doubt hijacked.

You say that you found all your mails are deleted. That means you have accessed your mail with your password. Somebody has hacked your mail. Reload your yahoo mail (Yahoo messenger) and change your password. If you want to to keep your mails safe, open a folder and put all your important mails in that in future.

Yahoo does not change your password because they do not know it. You have been violated by a thrief. Change your password on every account you have now and run a virus and adware check on your PC.
