Who thinks england deserved to get as far as they did, considering there performance?

they got just what they deserved , not more or less.

I think Rooney deserved that red card. Bekham is great, but they did not deserve to go that far. They had help from the ref in the game against Ecuador. England never did beat the Ecuadorian defense and had a screaming brat called Rooney. I jumped up and down when he got the red card.

the Quarterfinals was about the right place for England to go out. I'm dissappointed in their performance, as I am for Brazil, but I guess that's just how things happened this time around.

I have this question for you though: "When will England play well in a big tournament?" (they always have this great potential but I rarely see that potential turned into great play).

They got a chance when Gerrard took the 3rd penalty. But he blew it. Their overall performance is not good either. Still, I'm a fans of England.

On their playing merits they probably were fine to make it to the quarter-finals but no further.

On any other merits they can be out in the 1st round--- they think too much of themselves, and don't deserve to progress in that respect.

Ecuador should have passed instead of England, they were better in that game.

yea they barely made it, but luck won't guide them to a tea party with the 80 year old queen.

I think they should have been facing Italy in the finals.
