Rooney over rated like most of England players ......or not?

no he deserves all the credit he can get coz he is 1 of the best players in the world

yes he is being overrated...but not by much ..yes he can play football really well he is a great talent but surely what the english fans,the media and others tell about him is a bitt too much...the kid has got potential but his temper is outrageously short...well compared to gerrard and joe cole,rooney certainly doesnt deserve the praises he has been getting of late..this is also taking a toll on his performances...well rooney has not really shown what talent he could be and this overrating could have a negative impact on his carreer.i feel andy johnson s a better talent getting 20 odd goals in the epl from a club like palace...well if you put rooney alongside the lights of fabregas, messi, van persie and cristiano ronaldo..we can clearly see that they have proved their worth in their respective teams and are certainly faring better than roon...well i think now people should keep quiet about rooney and maybe n then he will reach his capable potential.

No, we really didn't see the best out of Rooney in this tournament. But, there were two or three players on the England squard who did fairly well: Ashley Cole, John Terry (who's now listed on FIFA's favoured squad) and Owen Hargreaves.

Rooney perhaps. But the english team does have some talented players like peter crouch who's my fav.

Yes I think he did but only b/c they depended too much on Rooney....I think that beckham could have played better though...

i think the over rated here is ronaldo, but I agree that there are over rated players in the english team, and one of them is surely lampard
