The political climate in this country is toxic. Who among the qualified parties could?

I can only comment on the last couple of decades, but the Big Two parties seem to have gotten farther and farther apart apparently just for the sake of doing it. These guys can't even seem to agree on a matter as simple yet vital as the security of our borders. And to top it off, the guys in Washington are so busy trying to keep the other side from getting what they want that they've all forgotten that they are supposed to be concerned about what's best for the country. Although they're all in agreement when it comes time to vote for their pay raises. And I believe that money is another issue at work. There may have been a time that our representatives were much more in tune with the people because they came from the same places that we did. Now, however, they make so much money and are so far removed from their constituents that they seem to have lost almost all touch with the people. Other than booting them all out and starting over, I believe that it will take a third party to step in and show that they remember what the elephants and donkeys have forgotten; "It's about the people, stupid." Then it will be up to us to put aside all of the usual party line B.S. and get moving forward again.
