PARENTS knock on closed doors?

You know I read the answers given to you and I am sorry---I have been a Mom for 28 years and raised 3 sons and a daughter--I have taught them that when my door is closed it is closed because I want privacy such as taking a shower or getting dressed ---and if they need to talk to me and it cant wait till I exit my room then they need to knock and wait for a response ---that is the respectful thing to do--SO--when they are in thier room with the door closed it means they need privacy and it is my obligation to knock and wait for a response---Unless parents think thier child is doing something harmful such as drugs, smoking etc. then they need to have respect---we had a no closed door policy when they had the opposit sex over for a visit--that is a no brainer--personal privacy is one thing but keeping your home respected is another ..

Just ask your parents to knock please its being and teaching respect

why not try locking the door. you see your dad owns the house and he can walk into any room he likes. so if u dont want this to happen again lock the door.

It's nothing to be ashamed of - I think he'll probably knock next time. But it's not a big deal. Masturbation = healthy and conducive to a good sexual life (if done in moderation).
