How sturdy is a lobster? Does it get more or less sturdy after you've cooked it?

By sturdy, I mean: can you drop it from, say, 3 feet and it will stay intact? I am using a lobster as a prop in a short film. My actress will be waving it around a bit and I don't want it to fall apart.

Place it in a steamer for only about 5 minutes. This should turn it nicely red but it will still be sturdy enough for your purposes.

Just cheat. Cook it and then put some toothpicks and other support materials in the body to keep the shell strong.
