iTunes: How do you make a screen capture of a video into a jpg?
I am trying to make a .jpg of a screen capture I got from a video I purchased from iTunes (personal use only). I put a screen capture of my whold video screen into Photoshop. When I put it into Photoshop and crop it, it is like the video is still a separate layer in the screen capture that was pasted into PhotoShop. When I crop the screen capture down to just the video section, although it looks OK when I line the cropping tool around the section I want to crop, PhotoShop crops the picture really oddly. When I use the pointer tool, I can move everything around the picture, although it is a screen capture of the WHOLE screen and not just the video screen (which is what I am trying to crop it down to). Even when I get the screen capture to crop correctly, when I save it (either as a .PSD or .JPG file), the screen is black, without the picture. Has anyone had this happen before and is there a way around it?

the reason for all that whackiness is drm protection. U can try it with any program, and it always happens the same way. Your best bet is to get a converter and convert the video to a non protected file format then open it in a (rarely free) video editing program.

so a techniques as section a million of your question is going: that is astounding even as human beings a minimum of provide credit the position credit is due, yet merely giving credit to the maker of a video isn't a similar as getting permission to apply it. having reported that, once some thing has been placed into the usual public area, it really is demanding to regulate what others will do with it so it really is really not likely that someone will attempt to end you from doing as you please.
