  • Does anyone know this painting?

This full length painting was of 2 men in knee pants. If I remember correctly, one was kind of leaning on the other. They looked like they were either just back in from a really long night out on the town or they looked like they were about to go out on the town. I don't think there was anything in the background except color and I don't remember if they had wigs on. This painting seems to be at least mid 1800s, maybe English or French- or American, but I could be off on that. The title that sticks in my mind is "Two Dandies" but I can't find anything by that title that is my painting. Any help is appreciated.

  • Book title needed (From 1980s)?

I am looking for a book from the 1980s-- it was horror fiction. The only things that I can remember is a man who did tarot readings who did one for someone and it came up that the person was going to die. After the person left, he couldn't believe what the cards said (because he always manipulated them into what he wanted to say for the client). He started did a reading for himself and it was death.

The other part was about this young woman who was pretty loosey-goosey for the time and she had a different guy every night..... and she picked up this guy who ended up to be the killer-but he was like a paranormal killer because they were having sex and the author describes her as having really good sex and an incredible orgasm that didn't stop. The woman couldn't feel her legs it was so strong and eventually (too late for her) she figured out that the killer was eating her (but in the sense of making her dissappear) and it was like one long delicious orgasm to her. Help is appreciated.

  • InDesign / Acrobat photo dpi issues?

I inserted several pictures into an InDesign book file. All of the pictures were edited in Photoshop and were originally 300 dpi. When I saved them as .jpgs, I chose to save them at the absolute best quality possible. Then I saved the file through the Distiller as a PDF.

My printer came back and said all my pictures were between 149-229 dpi. How is this possible.

  • Need the name of a science fiction/horror movie?

I am trying to remember the name of a movie that was about aliens or some strange beings that could only be seen by a human wearing sunglasses. I remember this guy had a pair of sunglasses that he could see through a symbol or something that that they were aliens. I wish I could be more specific but I just don't remember anything else. I believe it was made somewhere between the late 1970s and mid 1980s.

  • iTunes: How do you make a screen capture of a video into a jpg?

I am trying to make a .jpg of a screen capture I got from a video I purchased from iTunes (personal use only). I put a screen capture of my whold video screen into Photoshop. When I put it into Photoshop and crop it, it is like the video is still a separate layer in the screen capture that was pasted into PhotoShop. When I crop the screen capture down to just the video section, although it looks OK when I line the cropping tool around the section I want to crop, PhotoShop crops the picture really oddly. When I use the pointer tool, I can move everything around the picture, although it is a screen capture of the WHOLE screen and not just the video screen (which is what I am trying to crop it down to). Even when I get the screen capture to crop correctly, when I save it (either as a .PSD or .JPG file), the screen is black, without the picture. Has anyone had this happen before and is there a way around it?
