Spelling issues?

In general the current crop of 12-24 year olds are absolutely stump dumb. They can't spell and they can't speak. You can thank public school, MTV, MySpace, AIM, and braindead parents...

It is really frustrating trying to figure out what people are trying to say. We have a "check spelling" but people are too lazy to use it.

you and me both. It is no wonder kids do so poorly in school these days. The only way they know how to write is in computer shorthand. I have gotten to the point of refusing to answer my kids messages to me when they use this type of wordings.

I totally agree. Most of these morons who can't spell probably can't read the answers anyway.

i'm with you on proper spelling. i thought it i was the only person who was tired of the spelling... or lack there of.

I agree with you, some of the grammar and spelling on yahoo is atrocious.

I'm a nerd; I love a good speller. If I meet a guy and he can spell well...that's just plain sexy to me!

The thugs and thugettes who post here think it's funny. Others are just clueless or are foreigners.

It is kind of annoying sometimes, but I guess we do have a choice whether or not to stay on!

Laziness!!! It is so much easier to chop everything up, even though it looks so sloppy. I don't understand it either!

Insults may not work, but they sure make me feel better. :) Especially witty ones. I imagine the person on the other end....
