why some auto speed changer bmw s has manual button even there is 1_2_3 or2_3_4 gears already available??seems to be useless.the snow mode is more beneficial.

The snow mode sets the gearbox in 3rd and locks it there until you reach 30 mph to reduce the chance of wheelspin
