I have a 01 Busa and 02 1200 naked Bandit. Both are run at the drag strip and on the street regularly. Never had a major problem with either one. I have always been a Kawasaki type guy, these are first Suzuki's I have owned - will not be the last. I love my Busa!!
I can not wait to see the Suzuki answer to the ZX1400 Kaw - You know its coming!!!

Don't buy a Suzuki; the warrenty isn't worth the paper it's written on.
My brother and I bought 2 brand new bikes for a summer motorcycle vacation. I got a 1400 Inturder and he got a 1200 Bandit, they cost $15,000. The Bandit started leaking gas allover the place before it got 2000 miles on it. The gas leak filled the motor full of gas and ruined the motor.
It took Suzuki 4 months to get the bike fixed. We lost ALL the deposit money for the vacation and got NO vacation. We did get to hassel with Suzuki for our whole vacation to get scewed. The Bandit when they had finished fixing it looked like crap and ran worse.
The cases where the hot gas got on them were stained the exhaust pipes were burnt, the bike got nicked and scratched because it was apart for so long waiting on suzuki to decide what to do.
We even called Japan when Suzuki of America had ruined our vacation and wasted our vacation money. Nothing did any good, they could care less that we spent $15,000 with them plus the deposits for vacation stays.
I've been trying to let everyone I can, know what a peice of S#*T Suzuki of America is. Run like hell from buying any new Suzuki or get screwed like we did!!!!

Dude, it's like an old Cadillac. They're long, heavy and IMHO, ugly. But when you ride them, just like an old Caddy, they're SMOOOOOTH. And @ 1300 cc's- they move.
