why do sprite and 7up not foam up while pouring, while coke and pepsi do?

    Coke and Pepsi are more acidic (lower pH). this releases more of the dissolved Carbon Dioxide in the soft drink when the bottle is opened and poured.

    Not as many chemicals to make the reaction with the expanding gas.

    It Barely has carbonated water and it foams up in the bottle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    they do foam up.....anything carbonated will foam. some more then others.

    they are clear, so the foam is invisible.
