Absolutely. Introducing the head butt into the abnominable sport of Baseball would liven up the game at least to a small degree. Since by definition, baseball players have no measurable intellectual function, the player's employment of the head butt could not cause him any injury.

What I would like to see, radical idea though it may be, is for athletes in any given sport to actually play their sport and not pose and throw punches, and act like fools. That's what we have Luche Libre and WWE for!

If you think like that then there are other "tricks" that could be used which you did not mention.

It is not just the head butt, but for example the split face introduced by Francesco Totti. He split in another player's face not in 2006.

Split face might be introduced in wrestling for example.
