Civic Hybrid-49/51 MPG (C/H) Starts at $22,150 so you're paying $434.31 per advertised MPG.

Prius-61/51 MPG (C/H/) Starts at $21,725, so $425.98 per MPG.

Basically they're almost equal, I'd go with the Honda since it looks more like a "normal" car and I'm partial to Honda's myself. Although the Prius gets much better mileage in the city. Either way, they are the two best hybrids on the market.

The Prius has been rated as the best hybrid on the market according to a variety of sources. According to the EPA, the Prius has an annual cost of $811 vs. $891 of the Civic.

They produce the same amount of horsepower (110hp) but the Prius accelerates to 60mph about 1 second faster. The Prius also greater luggage capacity and passenger room.

I don't know, but I'd have to go with the Honda Civic Hybrid because the Prius is just butt ugly.
