Is there a computer developed yet that is flash rather than hard drive and operates MS ?
We have a dirt and size issue and would like to investigate alternatives for future. Operates about 1 G program on XP pro currently. Just fishin' for the latest because there is a need. CE won't do it for us. Thanks

I think that the Origami product is for you. Check it out.. it is smaller than a laptop but better than a handheld. If that doesn't help.. why don't you use tablet PC? it is a better platform than origami, IMHO.

My first response would be a PDA, there are some that are really just small tablets running Windows.
If your main reason for this is because you work in a harsh environment, then what you may really want is a rugged notebook. There are a couple different companies that make notebooks for extreme environments. A quick search on Google for "rugged notebook" ( http://www.google.com/search?q=rugged+notebook ) returns some promising results. Hope this helps!

You might be interested perhaps in the Gigabyte i-RAM. It's a 4 GB flash that acts like a hard drive. Apparently you can install Windows on it and get super fast boot times.
