Desperate times call for desperate measures.. I think you should take some things into consideration.. Have you gotten good use out of your drums? Are you willing to take a loss just to get quick cash? Why don't you list the Drums on craigslist or Ebay for a higher price?

That sucks when you have to sell some thing that cost you a lot of money for cheap. I say keep the drums and find another way of getting that money. A friend, family.

that is almost 50%
most things depreciate that much quickly so sure!
However, make sure what you need the money for is a NEED and not a want!
Don't go and buy drugs or tickets to a concert or something like that!
If you need to make rent, pay child support or someone is going to break our leg if you dont pay them, that may be worthy!

Depends, do you play them regularly? Will it affect your band if you sell them? Is your band (assuming you have one) a professional or semi-professional band? That's how I make a lot of money on the side. All my instuemnts have paid for themselves like 50 times.

Unless your livelihood depends on these drums, go ahead and sell.
However if you have a job, and are living paycheck to paycheck, you should definitely sell and build up your wealth.
Good luck :-)

If you really need the money then yes, also consider that they have been used so the price diminishes.

you should search it on ebay and see how much people are willing to pay for them. Then sell yours for that price on ebay or try the newspaper.
