How do I search for yahoo members in chat rooms?

if you aren't in a yahoo chat room..first go to a chat room then after you've entered chat, click on chat on the tool bar...a drop menu should appear. once you see the list of options, click on "go to chat user" then type in the name of the specific yahoo ID you are looking for and click OK. that'll take you to the specific user you are wanting to chat with. If you are in a yahoo chat room and still can't find the specific yahoo ID then this method will still work, but it only works if the user you are wanting to chat with in chat is online. i've had to use this method a few times myself.

Some how it is possible.. happens to me often, but you can set your settings to where you do not allow other people who are not on your messenger list IM you if you are bothered by the random Instant messages from random ppl
