As the Northstar engine has proven itself to be NFG, why would GM put it into the Buick?
The engine is one of the worst ever made. Head gaskets blow in high persentage of these engines and it's big money to have them fixed. If they don't leak oil they burn it. The transmission isn't all that much better either and they use that in the Buick now also.

probably because GM will not admit a mistake and doesn't care about the consumers. Just my opinion.

I say let the cleaning woman who stole my friend's cell phone take a job at Buick. At least if she steals all of the Northstar engines, she'll have a good reason. Plus do you know how many Northstar engines GM produced? They had to put them somewhere. Peace.
